Origami, the timeless Japanese art of paper folding, has been a part of my life for many years. What started as my personal hobby became a lifelong passion for my daughter Aaditee, who is now a junior college student. She began folding paper when she was barely two years old, watching me create simple boats, cranes, and flowers at home. What started as innocent play quickly grew into an extraordinary skill that now defines her creative journey.

From her earliest years, Aaditee showed remarkable enthusiasm and patience for Origami. While most children would play with toys, she would pick up colorful sheets of paper and spend hours folding them into beautiful shapes. Even as a child, her tiny hands worked with focus and determination, creating designs that surprised everyone around her. Over time, her talent deepened, and Origami became more than just an activity; it became her true passion.

Now, as a young Origamist in India, Aaditee has transformed this childhood hobby into a form of self expression. Every fold she makes carries a sense of meaning; whether it is a butterfly symbolizing freedom, a lotus representing peace, or a crane reflecting hope. She blends traditional Origami models with her own creativity, giving each piece a unique identity.

One of the most inspiring aspects of her journey is her ability to teach Origami workshops with patience and clarity. Aaditee has guided friends, cousins, and younger children, making the process easy and enjoyable. She explains each fold step by step, ensuring that learners not only create a model but also understand the joy of learning. Her natural teaching skills have made her sessions engaging and memorable.

In today’s world, where creativity and focus are more important than ever, Aaditee’s Origami classes bring something truly valuable. Origami improves concentration, enhances fine motor skills, develops problem-solving ability, and sparks imagination. Many parents and students have shown interest in learning from her, whether through offline Origami sessions in Kolhapur or online Origami learning workshops.

As a proud parent, I believe Aaditee has just begun her journey. Being a junior college student, she balances her academics with her passion for Origami beautifully. She dreams of reaching more students across India and inspiring them through this wonderful art form. In the future, she may even conduct international Origami workshops, publish her own Origami tutorials, or start an online Origami learning platform to reach creative minds everywhere.

For me, Origami was always a hobby. For Aaditee, it has become a calling. Watching her fold paper into meaningful creations fills me with immense pride. I am certain that her journey as an Origamist will continue to inspire many more children and adults to discover the magic hidden in a simple square of paper.
